It was only a matter of time before attorneys and the courts began to recognize that Facebook posts can be a gold mine of information for lawsuits that you are involved in either directly or peripherally.
Almost everything that you post is “discoverable”, even the private information that you designate for only certain people such as your “Friends.”
No one ever plans to be involved in a lawsuit. But those pictures and comments that may show you in a less than favorable light should be thought through before being posted. We have all see posts of people at parties or bars with drinks and even other items in the picture. You probably don’t want one of those of you floating around in the internet.
